Distributed measurement data collecting system with mobile packet transmission
AbstractThe article presents a system for gathering measurement data. The system gathers the data from a number of distributed, across a wide area sensors, using mobile packet transmission. The data comes from a variety of digital sensors, including temperature sensors with 1-wire communication. The system allows to monitor many parameters for example temperatures of power semiconductors devices or any other signals from digital or analog sensors in the remote objects. The system is supplied with a data acquisition module which can store the important data for the further use and has a Wi-Fi module which allows for connection to the Internet and access to the data from any place. The described system may be used for recognition of anomalous behavior in the observed object, which may be caused by a semiconductor device failure. Such data is crucial for example in power electronic systems, remote solar plants or wind plants. The structure of the system as well as description of the system operation is presented in the paper.
